PARITY participates in MANUFACTergy as an external technology provider to PHEE, a Greek manufacturing SME active in biocomposites. The project coordinates the transition toward a greener, more digital, and more resilient industry across the furniture and construction sectors, bringing together organisations and SMEs from seven partner countries: Italy, Czech Republic, Sweden, Bulgaria, Spain, Norway, and Romania. By analysing more than 200 SMEs and identifying vulnerabilities, dependencies, and bottlenecks within supply chains, the project provides strategic tools that allow companies to reduce critical dependencies, better manage supply chain risks, and adapt to economic, technological, and energy-related changes, fostering a more autonomous and competitive European industry.
Through the FACTORY CHECK-IN and FACTORY TRANSITION calls, companies receive support to implement innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency, reduce resource consumption, and advance environmental sustainability. The project also strengthens collaboration networks among SMEs, clusters, solution providers, and European and international organisations, facilitating access to know-how, advanced technologies, and new markets. More than 60 companies will establish strategic partnerships, 72 SMEs will take part in upskilling and reskilling programmes, and 146 organisations in total will be integrated into the expanded ecosystem of the GO Furniture meta-cluster.
