PARITY develops SCF (Smart City Fortress), a cyber-physical security layer for municipal energy and mobility infrastructure. As cities electrify their transport and add local renewable generation, EV chargers, electric fleets and solar-storage systems become connected, interdependent and exposed, yet they are usually monitored by separate tools that cannot see an attack unfolding across them. SCF brings these assets together in one place and correlates their telemetry to detect coordinated attacks that would otherwise remain hidden. Instead of a stream of disconnected warnings, operators receive one explainable alert that describes what is happening, recommends a response and provides the evidence needed for incident reporting under NIS2, helping municipalities meet their obligations as operators of essential services.
SCF is piloted with Develop Athens, the development agency of the City of Athens, at the Serafeio complex, where it is deployed on real city assets and validated against the operational needs of a municipal operator. Through the pilot, the solution advances from TRL 5 to TRL 7, moving from validation in a relevant environment to demonstration in an operational one. The outcome is a sovereign, European-developed security option that cities can adopt to protect their decarbonisation infrastructure, strengthening the resilience of public services while supporting the wider rollout of clean energy and electric mobility across Europe.
